My Answers:
What scent sets the holiday mood?
A few particular scents come to mind: bonfires, pumpkin spice, fresh apples, and crisp autumn air on a cool night.
Favorite Halloween Fun Size Candy Bar?
Do Reese’s cups count as a fun size candy bar? If not, Snickers (either the peanut butter kind or the almond kind).
Favorite Halloween movie?

October is also the month I indulge in my horror addiction and binge watch any horror film I can get my grubby little hands on.
Favorite seasonal sweet?

What toppings are on the perfect candy apple?
I’m a classic caramel apple with nuts kind of girl.
What’s your favorite costume you ever wore on Halloween?

Most enjoyable fall tradition?
Ohhhh, this is a tough one to narrow down. I love it all: Cider mills, costume parties, bonfires, carving pumpkins, horror movie marathons, cuddle/hoodie weather, dreary days, spooky stories/legends and historical tours. Just to name a few. π
Pumpkin Patch Hayride or Haunted Hayride?
Haunted Hayride!
What song is a must for a Halloween Party Playlist?
Voltaire- When You’re Evil
Creature Feature- A Gorey Demise
The Ramones- Pet Sematary
The Misfits- Halloween
Voltaire- Zombie Prostitute
There are countless others, so I’m just gonna move onto the next question.
Favorite Halloween Monster: Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.?
If we’re talking classic Hollywood monsters, Frankenstein. If we’re talking just monsters in general, I love me some werewolves.
Cider or Cocoa?
Tough question. This is like asking someone if they want to keep their left foot or right foot. Both are pretty good. I guess I’ll just say cider in the fall and cocoa in the winter! π
Scary movies or Scaredy cat?
Scary movies. Definitely. I’ve been watching them for as long as I can remember and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. That said, make no mistakes, I am a total wuss. But with all the horror movies I’ve seen, I am that girl who hears a spooky noise and gets the nearest sharp object to wield just in case. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t sleep with a machete next to my bed. Better safe than sorry! π
Pumpkin Spice: Yum, or Yuck?
Yum. All the yums.
Which is scariest: Spiders, Zombies, or Clowns?
Ugh. Spiders. Eight-legged abominations that are made from nightmares and wicked intentions. Sure, they eat bugs. So do bats. Bats are cute. Spiders are horror incarnate.
Best find in your Trick or Treat bag?
Everyone else always called them “grandma candies”, but I really like those peanut butter kisses in the orange or black wrappers. It’s like peanut butter taffy, what’s not to love? That or when you’d score one of those little bags of cheetos or fruit snacks. I didn’t really care for chocolate all that much when I was a kid. (What the hell was wrong with me?)
Worst thing to get in your Trick or Treat bag?
Pencils. Sure, those little halloween-themed pencils you would get looked cool, but they never sharpened worth a damn, and when they finally did, the lead would break immediately. It was a vicious cycle of: sharpen, sharpen, sharpen, gently touch shitty pencil to paper and watch in frustration as the lead snapped, sharpen, sharpen, sharpen, and yet again watch with helpless rage as the lead broke right along with all your hopes and dreams. You’d wind up sharpening it to a pencil nubbin before you could even so much as write your damn name with it. /End Rant.
Also, any of the adorable and scrumptious looking homemade treats people would pass out. They always looked awesome and then your protective parents would always throw them right in the garbage in front of you because they might have razor blades or pins in them.
What a fun quiz! I might have to borrow and attempt to do before the big day π

I was like, “I want to do this!” then I realized that they would be 85% the same answers lol. Damn you for being my evil twin!

Mwahaha!
(Though you should totally still do it! It’s fun and I’d like to see what that other 15% would result in answer-wise!) π
