Woo! My favorite week for television is upon us: SHARK WEEK! π I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, but when Shark Week is on, Discovery Channel reigns supreme in my home. I love sharks (and marine life in general) so an entire week of non-stop specials about sharks is always a big plus in my book. π Let the binge-watching begin!
In honor of Shark Week, I will be posting multiple shark-related posts throughout the week that I’ve been putting together. You can count on there being a couple new drawings and plenty of snazzy shark facts I thought you guys might find interesting. I’ve got several posts that shine a light on some of my favorite types of sharks. π Hopefully you will enjoy reading the posts as much as I’ve been enjoying creating them. β€
So, how about you? Are any of you fine folks planning to partake in the “Jawsome” glory that is Shark Week? Any particular sharks you’re hoping to see and/or learn more about from this year’s specials? Ever seen or encountered a shark in real life?? Let’s talk SHARKS!! π
Aaaaand on a related note, I’m still attempting to catch up on reading other blogs after my recent absence. There’s so much to catch up on and I look forward to seeing what everyone has been up to. π It’s amazing how fast you can get behind and how long it takes to try to catch up. Wish me luck! π
I didn’t even know there was something as SHARK WEEK OMG YAS :O

Omg YAS indeed! π Shark Week is a blast. I don’t watch a lot of TV normally, but Shark Week is my favorite time of the year to be a couch potato and watch a ton of shark documentaries and specials. π This year is the 30th anniversary for it. You can catch all the fun on Discovery Channel.

I remember loving shark week as a little girl, but living my life without tv has made it become something I donβt get to think about anymore, but I love sharks! π¦π¦

I feel ya. I think Shark Week is the only time of year that I wind up watching TV all throughout the week. π I’m not much a TV person, either, usually.

Wooo! I’m willing to be that I forgot to watch it once again lol. I only saw one episode last year.

It’s understandable. π I’m such a grandma that I’ll be catching a lot of the episodes this year as they re-air during the earlier hours of the evening this week.

Do the sharks know itβs shark week? Do sharks have a human week? Have you seen the footage of Aussie Surfer Mick Fanning punching a shark. Us Aussies are rough man!!! Jaws, the first one, is still a terrifying movie to watch. Thatβs all I have on sharks. I look forward to being enlightened on your beloved sharks.

Haha you guys certainly are a touch bunch. I’ve seen that and another one of some old Australian guy shoving a shark on the nose from his boat and telling it to “Fuck Off!” π Here’s the vid in case you haven’t seen it:
Cracks me up how in the video description it says “About as Aussie as you can get.”
