If you just heard a shrill, high octave bat skree come out of nowhere, that was probably me just learning the news that Ruby Rose has been cast to play Batwoman on the CW. I’d apologize for any bleeding eardrums, but this level of excitement just cannot be contained!
There are so many levels to this excitement. One being Batwoman (aka: Kate Kane) is a total badass and I loooove her, another being Ruby Rose is ALSO a total badass and I loooove her as well, and yet another level of awesomeness is getting to see more representation of an openly lesbian character portrayed on TV, something Miss Rose said she wished she’d been able to see more of when she was a young member in the LGBTQ+ community. 🙂 SO. MUCH. AWESOME. I cannot wait! ❤
Ruby Rose will be making her debut as Batwoman in the CW’s annual crossover event in December, but is slated to have her own upcoming show for the 2019-2020 season! I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, but this is one show I will NOT be missing. 😀

Let me tell you a story…
I was never a fella to have pictures of girls on my walls. I had pictures of Dali’s work along with bands I loved. I never had a celebrity crush.
I was also a fella that never fancied girls with short hair.
Then Ruby Rose happened. I fell head over heels for her and even though she prefers the company of ladies I decided she’d flip flop when she met me haha. Not long after seeing the first images of Ruby I laid eyes on a beautiful girl called Antoinette who had short hair and looked very similar to Ruby Rose. I told my friends I was going to marry that girl. They laughed and said she is out of my league. This November we will be celebrating our seven year wedding anniversary!!!
And yes this is exciting news. 👍🏼😉

Haha I think everyone seems to have a thing for miss Ruby Rose. That makes for a great story about you calling it that you were going to marry your wife despite everyone saying she's out of your league, and look at you guys now! 🙂 I hope someone shared that story in a drunk toast at your wedding because those kinds of speeches are the best. The ones that make people laugh. 🙂

I’d heard she was playing Batwoman for the crossover, and my first thought was ‘this deserves a whole show’! I’m so glad that’s coming true!

I tried Arrow. It seemed okay but I only watched two episodes and then never went back so that probably says something.
