Ready to Spring into Spring

Happy Spring, everybody!! ❀ Life’s been quite topsy-turvy as of late, but thankfully, things are looking up. πŸ™‚ I (like many of us, I’m sure) am beyond thrilled that spring is finally upon us. With all the snow and ice and winter vortex business we’ve been dealing with the past few months, warmer days are definitely something to look forward to. Plus, no more of those horrible “winter hands” from all that cold, dry air. You know what I’m talking about. πŸ˜‰

So, with spring here, I’m curious what everyone is looking forward to the most? I just bought one of those little pop-up greenhouses today so now I’m even more excited for gardening than I already was. πŸ˜€ The past couple years I’ve taken to going outside and taking lots of photos of all the flowers and plants. I’m no pro or anything like that, but it’s something I’ve come to enjoy doing, so expect plenty of outdoors pics in the months to come!

Anyway, even though I’d been too sick/busy/exhausted to do much blogging in the last few weeks, it was never totally far from my mind. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the direction I want to take the blog in and what kind of posts I really wanna focus on. I also definitely want to give the whole look of the blog a major re-haul before July when this little baby blog turns three whole years old!

Anyway, I’m keeping this post short and sweet, but it’s good to be back. Looking forward to catching up with everyone and I hope you’ve all been well. πŸ™‚ Lemme know what you’ve been up to and what adventures you’re planning for spring!

  1. Funny you say about the greenhouse because on Monday I set one up for a client. I’ve overhauled her entire garden that was mostly filled with weeds and blackberry bushes now we are planning what to plant. It’s Autumn (Fall) here so will start getting a bit chilly so the greenhouse will get a good work out. I look forward to seeing what you do with the blog.

  2. There’s definitely an upcoming adventure, as it’s a trip to London and Salute for me in early April, and from there we head up north with my wife for a hundred mile hike along the Pennine Way. Really looking forward to it!

  3. Defo yay for spring! I’m also cursed with hands that are falling apart. I just call them norwegian fisherman hands πŸ˜€ LOL
It’s still a bit cold here, but the sun made an apperance this morning, so let’s hope for the best!

  4. That deer meme is the EXACT thing I worry about with our gardening this year lol. I’ve really like to get some veggies and berry bushes going but I know those damn critters are going to be all up in my herbs! πŸ˜›
I’m so excited for warmer weather and all the things planned for this summer (and very interested in this blog overhaul.) πŸ˜€

  5. Aw I’m sorry things have been so rough lately. Here’s to hoping things start to turn around and you feel a little brighter. Spring certainly can’t come soon enough!! xxxx

  6. that quote is so relatable, us brits love complaining about the weather! im looking forward to summer nights with my friends lounging around just enjoying the social and chatting! also 3 years! damn girl go you πŸ™‚

  7. I’m already complaining about how bright the sun is like the happy goth I am lol. I told my husband if we replaced the sun with an equally massive black hole, nothing would change. I mean we’d have eternal darkness, but it’s not like the earth’s rotation would be altered. As of now I have no way to implement this plan, so all of you sun lovers are safe…for now >:)

  8. I’m SO HAPPY that it’s finally spring! ❀ Spring is my favourite season and I'm already loving all the sunlight that we are getting. πŸ˜€
